American Sovereignty Under Attack

I have seen over the last day or two posts by The Conservative Lady and Opus #6 at MAINFO regarding President Obama's plan to travel to Copenhagen this December to sign the "Treaty of Copenhagen."

The Treaty of Copenhagen is nothing more than a big "global warming" hoax, with its real intentions being "One World Governance". I did a Google search for "Treaty of Copenhagen" and found a link to The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change page.

On this page it is overwhelmingly evident that this is a plan for "One World Governance," something President Obama is clearly in support of, given his position on "Climate Change" and "Redistribution of wealth" as chronicled by many observers, including your humble host.

I have linked to the pages offered by Opus and TCL (click their names above) - please read them and learn what you can from their offerings. I also offer this page, which is a link I found on the aforementioned UN page. To me the part of this page that gives it all away is written as follows:

The message from this Summit is clear -- the Copenhagen deal must be comprehensive, and ensure:

Enhanced action to assist the most vulnerable and the poorest to adapt to the impacts of climate change;
Ambitious emission-reduction targets for industrialized countries;
Nationally appropriate mitigation actions by developing countries with the necessary support;
Significantly scaled-up financial and technological resources;
and An equitable governance structure.

Sound vaguely familiar?

****UPDATE****

Because you might miss it, or for those who don't read all the way through all the links (and there are a few) here is a link to the treaty as written on September 15, 2009. If you go to this .pdf and look on the right hand side you will see it all ties in with the UN link I provided in my original piece.

Kyoto on steroids. Scary part is that this stands a better chance of being ratified by Congress.

Going for ammo this weekend.

B&G - if you know something I don't, please let me know.. because by all appearances, this is something that only requires a president's signature in agreement and we're done for?!?! If Congress has to be involved we might stand a chance, but we've got to get loud fast.

As Opus' page says - "And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you can’t resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties – And because you’ll be the biggest paying country, they’re not going to let you out of it."

That's scary shit.

This is the stuff Glenn Beck's been harping on for about 5 years now, if you've listened to him long enough to know - and we now see how right he is on damned near everything he presents.

i feel like it isn't enough.

Sol:
Glenn tweeted that he will contact Lord Monckton regarding Treaty. I posted tweet and a video of Monckton on my blog.

P.S. Thanks for the linky love.

B&G - I posted an update you might want to check out if you have the time. It ties it all together, kinda sorta.

Pedaling... I don't know what's enough, that's up to you.

Know this - you are probably more informed than maybe half or more of the American population. If for no other reason, I know this to be true because of the number of people who will still say Obama is doing a good job, when clearly he's not. You are not a sheeple, and for that alone you can be proud.

You can't do it all by yourself, but together we can make a lot of noise, and hopefully rattle the right cages.

Hope that helps you feel a little less small in the big scheme?

I feel it too, we all do... you are not alone, we surround them. It's true - believe in it, and keep doing what you do.

TCL - I've never heard of Lord Monckton until now, but God bless him for speaking out about this and offering such good information!

I'm always glad to link another good source of important information, as I know to be true of you. We're all in this fight together.

Soloman. It has to require more than the signature of the idiot. Clinton signed Kyoto, didn't mean squat. Hell, to get the constitution changed (yea, I know) requires a 62% approval by the states.

Well, imo, this is all about the liberals believing the claptrap from the 3rd world countries that they suck because America uses up all the resources. Of course, they suck because they suck.
I can't believe it's turning uot like this.

Imagine the contrasting scenario. Reagan is in power for decades and the countries that suck are allowed to suck so bad that the people revolt and put the bastards out of power permanently, then do something constructive with the countries and evryone live happily ever after. Prolly sound like a lib now.

Short version is that helping a degenerate is not helping anything, it's making it much worse.

When I first read this on a few of the blogs, I was in shock! I hope The Kid is right....of all the crap that obummer is shoveling at us...this ranks up there as one of the worst things. God Bless Lord Monckton. I hope Glenn does a super expose on this too.
Wow, make it all stop, they are bombarding us to death.

Kid - I certainly hope (and generally expect) that you are correct in that it would require more then Obama's scribble to make any agreement the law of our land.

Having said that, we know that this event takes place this year in December. We also know of at least one Senator - McCain - who is pro Cap & Trade, which is what a lot of this is equal to. You've gotta figure Lindsay Graham would go the same... there's 2 idiots going the wrong direction. I know.. hard to say, but enough to start rattling about, perhaps..?

These 3rd world nations - most of them, anyway - need to find civility within their borders before we should give a crap about them, and you're absolutely right - the libs will latch on to the "It's all America's fault" pitch and try to sell it hard. It's what they do...

Bunni - Glenn's been on this for years, so he will certainly start speaking up about it again.

Hopefully between him, Rush, and all the rest of the talkers, plus Fox, they can generate noise like what happened over McAmnesty a few years back.

Make it stop... you know that's their plan - to overwhelm, hoping to slide some things through while we pay our attention to other issues.
