As pointed out by Neil Cavuto, today Chris Christie might have won over the hearts and minds of many New Jersey residents.
Not so much because the voters of New Jersey have weight issues of their own as implied by Imus, although they say we have a nationwide epidemic, but instead because Christie calls out Corzine on his advertisements and is so jovial about his own size.
I believe if enough undecided NJ voters see or hear this clip over the weekend, come Tuesday it might just make Christie the big fat winner he says he will be.
Kudos to Chris Christie for telling it like it is.

I'm glad we have broadcasters like Imus and the rest to tell it like it is.
It's very bad that opponents will use smear campaigns, sniping and just plain lies to destroy their opponents by any means necessary! I hope Chris WINS BIG! That will show the haters and that bum corzine.
Thanks for your nice words over my way. I couldn't believe the big cats luv perfume too. I hope they don't love skinny girls too much.....burp! ha ha.
Bunni.. In an effort to cheer you up a little, I was going to make a comment about how amazing it is that something so beautiful as those cats can maul you and eat you in a minute, and how that should make life's troubles less worrisome... so now I'll say it, cause you're joking about them eating people too!
too funny...
You know, its weird, but I hadn't heard Christie speak before until now, and he sounded really, really cool. I don't even have to convince myself of it, he just seems cool - and Corzine seems like a shmuck.
I heard Christie used to hang out with The Fonz at Archie's Place back in the day, so of course he's got to be cool.
Corzine needs a swirly.
now, that's my kind of interview!
yeah, that's what i thought of when i first heard about this story.....
not real bright when there's a lot of chubs out there.
Revenge of the Fat guys & gals!
Pedaling.. one thing a politician should not do is insult an entire segment of people that crosses party lines. Corzine did exactly that when he cracked on Christie's weight.
I agree with you - that's my kind of interview. Just people talking, no hardcore pressure about policy.
Whether he meant to or not I'm not sure, because honestly I think Imus leans a little left, but he sure gave Christie an opening...
Ijust may place Corzine on my list of 5---I had never heard him speak before....
BTW-when is Imus on: I'll take EST and back it to CA time:
C-CS
CS - Imus is on Fox Business Network on cable (if you have it on your cable network) at 6am EST. That's a TV simulcast of his radio show, which airs on a NYC station. According to the website, you can listen live, the link to listen live is here.
