Sol, the "conservative in drag" comment was serious. Candle's profile continues to state he is a female. He is not. I saw his (manly) arm and heard his low voice in his 9/12 protest video. He is a man. But not all of his readers are aware, and he goes along with the gag.
Glad you all liked my pic for this week's video...
And Opus - I know that. You missed the irony of my comment - a "Conservative in drag" would make the perfect politician in DC. Could have been a liberal in drag just as easily, I just took the material I had and tried to work with it.
The glasses look.. love it. Amazing, that style is back in again, nearly 50 years later.
We'll never again see true natural talent displayed on that level.
While there certainly are great natural voices in modern music (Chris Cornell comes to mind), they surround themselves with so much noise, 'cause that's what sells.
I enjoy reading the comments on YouTube... there seem to be some younger people who see the talent of yesterday's stars. Gives one hope...

We'll give that a "now ain't that just too bad."
Great choice of Video, Solomon. I hope they all cry enough tears to drown themselves. It's too swweeeeet! Happy Weekend.
Ha ha! Love it.

Or it just wasn't that funny? One or the other.
Soloman. On 10/1 I sent myself an email with the subject line Roy Orbison. Hmmmm
It would have been my next music selection. And it very likely would have been this very tune/video.
Here's another link you may enjoy. Check out the dude and the chick in the audience with the sunglasses on. :)

I sure hope people once again yearn for talented musicians.
