With this statement, Eric Cantor has shown that he is truly a man of principle.
Thank you, Congressman Cantor.
We can only wish that the "mainstream media" would show this video and discusses it honestly, so that Americans could witness and understand exactly what kind of shenanigans are happening in Washington, specifically regarding the actions of the Democrat Party and their supporters.
The liberal agenda is clear. They are scared for their political future, and they now plan to do anything and everything possible to discredit good Americans who oppose Barack Hussein Obama and the "progressive" agenda.
We have every right under The Constitution to speak freely in dissent of this government. We should never threaten or attempt to intimidate anyone with whom we disagree; instead we should challenge them in the battlefield of ideas, for there we are sure to find victory.
Do not give in to their pressures. No matter how frustrating their radical behavior becomes, we must all stand true to what we know is right.
Our faith in God and the greatness of America will see us through these trying times. Be strong, and do not be afraid. We shall overcome.

Well, I am still here blogging. That is what I can do to help.
Wow this was great. No, hey, wait a minute....this so-called "Eric Cantor" guy's just trying to get democrats set fire to! All he does is talk in a masculine voice and talk about "flames".
OH OK ... I'll be good.
Opus, you do so much more. You are raising children and helping them to understand what is good about America, as is displayed by your recent post about your daughter's concern over the passage of this bill. Isn't that the same daughter you mentioned not too long ago (maybe on your radio interview?) that she voted Obama and was rather fooled by the media's game?
Plus you attended town hall meetings, you network like crazy, and bring great information to light... and you are true to your core values and principles.
You're an inspiration in your efforts!!

That - the masculine voice and talking about flames - that's Cantor's way of trying to get the leftists thinking he's a closet gay man. Come on, what kind of radical leftist are you?
Really - I saw that posted on one of the leftist sites in the comments section, that Cantor's probably gay. I think it was TalkingPointsMemo, but I'm not sure.

We all know better. We've seen your websites... heh.
God bless ya, man!
Good on him! Great post. I know that more than 95% of the hate and venom I see or read, spews from a liberal's mouth. Not that we're perfect, but it seems like we're the only ones able to get through a conversation without calling names.
Obama and his pals do incite passion in all of us who disagree with him so deeply. But resorting to thuggery only reflects what we're fighting against. Won't do it.
Actually, this is the first time in my life that there are 4 republicans that I could be very happy voting for. Sarah,Eric Cantor,Paul Ryan and of course my fave Fred Thompson.

There's no doubt that the majority of the hateful rhetoric comes from the left. Anyone who denies that fact is looking at their world through rose colored glasses.
And yes.. not that we're perfect... but we'll admit that we're not perfect. I think it's largely got to do with that whole God idea the leftist just won't accept...

Agreed. I see many Obama bumper stickers and I could resort to malicious acts, and certainly we could all wish ill-will upon our political foes.
The thing is, we see them as political foes, whereas they see us as an enemy to be more concerned with than Al Qaeda. That's scary stuff...

It's a shame that personality and the ability to create the perfect sound byte seem to matter so much, because I think Fred would be a darned good president.
Regarding the rest... I like them all, and would seriously consider supporting any of them.
"...we see them as political foes, whereas they see us as an enemy to be more concerned with than Al Qaeda" -- that's EXACTLY right!
