You got me, B&G Fan! Twas a great first half, and as we discussed my team has some work to do. Hopefully we meet again... !!

This is a great game! Very well played even if my boys were behind.
Agreed.. seems the tide has turned your way a little bit. My Broncos better step it up!!!
Looks like we might be looking at two definite contenders. If nothing else, I'm proud that the Broncos are showing they belong with the "big guns" like the Steelers.
Bad move on holding when set for a 3rd down conversion. That could've made things a lot different right now.
Denver has definitely exceeded my expectations.
IMO bad move at the end of the half by Denver. Poor clock management.
Whadda ya do though, right? It's just a game.. although my neighbors are probably wondering WTF!?!?
Told ya we had a damn good team...
I could enjoy the game more if the damned dog wasn't making me crazy!
We've beat every division winner we've played - NE, Dallas, Cincy.. but you guys and B-more are some tough teams.
This is good preparation for us for the playoffs...
Denver needs to settle down and concentrate.
I'm surprised Ben's only been sacked twice. Usually by this time in a game he's been sacked at least 5 times.
WooHoo!!!
Ben...FAIL!!! Should've held it and taken the sack.
Now we need to drive it right home...
That's Ben for ya!
Orton's impressed me with his accuracy. Got some zip on that ball.
Who yinz got next? We got Cincy on Sunday.
@ Redskins
Damn. That was a waste.
4th Q. This is for all of it.
yinz shouldn't have an problems with 'skins if the Broncs can get it together. If they can refocus, the skins are toast.
Obviously I want the win, but I'll be very happy if we can stay within a TD. That's quite an accomplishment for a 1st year coach with a new QB this year.
Orton's surprised me too. When we traded Cutler I thought we were in the tank for sure, but we've all found out Cutler's not all that.
I didn't get to tell you what my 9yo daughter said. With the autism, it's hard to understand her speech sometimes, and she asked me who the Steelers were playing tonight. I said the Broncos. God love her, she looked at me and said "The Bongos?"
Out of the mouths of babes...
Oh we'll be ready for the skins, no doubt.
The Orange Crush is back!!
Where the hell did Ben think he was throwing that???
That's funny...
Luckily they're not being played like bongos..
3 & out...
Albuquerque?
Should the tide turn in this game, I've decided to go with the old Broncos logo. Much better caliber of team.
Any of the above will be fine...
I'm just hoping they score and hold.
damn.
Did you see where Mean Joe is getting the Clio for his Coke ad? I can't believe that commercial is 30 yrs. old already. I did a short post about it.
The Steelers figured out the Broncos o-line in the second half. That's been a huge difference.
Is this the same Bronco team that started the game?
I saw your post - I was gonna comment on it. That's great he's getting it...
Dick LeBeau knows the game well. IMO, definitely one the best defensive coordinators to ever be involved in the game.
Good coaching on your side, my side's not kept up so much.
signs of a young coaching staff with not much time together.
Good thing we beat SD already once this year.
you'll need to beat cincy at home - they seem much improved.
Ben may have his sucky moments, but at least he's no Malone, Brister, or Stoudt. Those were some terrible years to be a Steeler fan.
They'll get there. I'm sure Coach Noll had a tough time when he first started.
Our D is playing better now, but our O is struggling.
I go through a lot of reese's at times like this.. lol..
Sweed has yet to impress me. He's only reliable half the time.
oooohhh... that was close...
okay.. time to put the game-faces on, offense!
Our pit is chewing up a frisbee and leaving neon green pieces all over the carpet. I really don't care right now. He's leaving me alone, so I'm not worrying about the damned frisbee.
can you believe it's flippin' november and i'm having to run my air conditioner? we hit almost 90 today..
it's hard to feel thanksgiving and Christmas-like when it's sunny and 75...
Holy crap! Beware the Hair!!!
ouch.. that was a hit..
dammit
Wouldn't it be great to see overtime?
DUH!!!
there's our counter to the hair...
our d-backs are unbelievable.
Wow!!!
I was about to say I'd love to see OT.. but that ain't how that happens...
Time to put up or shut up, Orton and gang..
Sorry, dude. Not looking too promising.
Ben's great at making something of broken plays - reminds me of Elway in that respect.
And I was concerned that Ryan Clark was sitting out. Silly me!!
At the very least, yinz scored more points against us than the Ravens.
ain't heard no fat lady yet... but Orton seems to be scrambling, and that's not his strength. He's much more of a pocket QB.
Denver will be building an O-line this off-season.
I can't believe the fans booing. this team is still so young, they need to back off and appreciate what that team is doing so quickly.
I agree. Now matter how bad I've seen the Stillers play, I've never booed them. That's just tacky.
2 more mini-reese's.. it's like alcohol for the non-drinker.. lol..
it's amazing how some things can be challenged and others can't. I still don't get that rule completely..
interception? I think somebody's been drinking, and he's wearing stripes!!
I agree. Now matter how bad I've seen the Stillers play, I've never booed them. That's just tacky.
I don't drink either. I get in too much trouble sober. But I've been going to for a cig more often during this game. I leave the curtain on the door open so I can see the game.
not to preach.. but i quit last Christmas - cold turkey after smoking for the better part of 23 years. best thing i ever did, don't miss it a bit.
you'll save a lot of cash!!!
clock-killer drive here...
I love ESPN's football coverage, with that camera view. I need an HDTV so badly...
Cigs are the only vice I have. I just don't have the desire to quit. Maybe one day...
I'm watching on my 54-incher. Size DOES matter!
like i said - not preaching.
i loved it until i decided to quit, so i totally get that. now that i quit i'm glad i did, but to each in his or her own time, if ever..
OMG!!! Did they just mention Brian Sipe??? There's a name I haven't heard since I was a kid.
i've looked at sony 54" TV's for under $1000 - it's amazing to me how cheap they're getting.
I need a new mattress first.. then i get to treat myself.
i heard his name - i wasn't really listening. i've kinda tuned it out, it's over.
right now i'm just waiting for the finish so i can pay my debt, then i'm off to fox news.
wow - we've set a new record for comments on my blog!
That was one guy (Sipe) Lambert and company loved to hit!
I know it sucks when your team is on the losing end, but they did play a great first half!
yeah - no pride lost here.
i'm smart enough to know this is a building process.
if we make the playoffs i'll be happy, we win one in the playoffs i'm thrilled.
more than that? look out, party time!!
Woo hoo!!! It's been a great time watching and chatting. Thanks!
ahhh.. the famous review within the last 2 minutes. he's right - every monday night..
you got it - have a good night !
I'm gonna finish this and hit the sack. Early morning to get cherubs off to school.
Good game, hon! I had fun being here!
yeah - thanks for dropping in! check back to collect, of course...
mendenhall tore denver a new ass*ole tonite.
Not my style to sling poo on another man's blog, so I'll just stay quiet.
No worries here, y'all. This is a huge rebuilding year for the Broncos, and the Steelers are the defending champs.
We've got better days ahead...
Be glad your team still has a winning record my team is has lost four straight
Trestin, I'm guessing you're a Giants fan? They've had a rocky road as of late.
If you read through the comments any you'll see that for the Broncos this year, I'd be thrilled with making the playoffs. Anything more than that will be gravy.
I'm so pissed off at you guys. I don't even know what it's like to have a winning team.
Bengal Nation checking in here...Happy about this game???
NOT!!!!!!!!
Sunday will tell the tale.
I live in Indiana. It will also tell the tale of the Colts vs. Pats' big rivalry.
Not giving up hope, even after watching the Squealers last night...
WHO DEY????
Nickie - who is your team?
I hope you don't say the Raiders... the Broncos fan in my will have trouble finding sympathy for you, my friend..
Sue - this game? Bah. Made much better by the company I kept. I know the Broncos are reorganizing though, so I accept this as learning for a better future.
I'd put money on the Brady bunch over the baby broncs.. just a hunch. Pats seem to be getting better, just as the Squealers showed last night.
Wish you luck this weekend.. your Bengals have a good record, but the Steelers may just prove they are in a different class...
Next time send me an invite...I would have loved to drop some snark on the Broncos....
(Dr. Dave is dead, btw.)
Snarky B... what did you do with my man Dr. Dave? I'll git you, sucker...
Regarding the open thread - it was a last minute decision, as you can see by the fact that my first update was midway through the 2nd.
And if you're Broncos-bashing, you'd better bring game, brotha... just ask B&G fan, I think she'll testify that I have sports snark down to a science!
