What's Your Pledge?

By now it's likely you've seen Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, along with their herd of Hollywood Obama sheep, in their video pledge to serve the 44th President of The United States of America. I do not wish to post that video, but if you have not seen it and want full context, view it here.

I will not say that I completely disagree with everything said on that video clip; there are pledges to do good for charities and to be a better person in general. However, it is quite obvious that there is only one inspiration for such new-found patriotism and do-gooder-ness (is that a word? spell check says not...) which is the election of an obviously far-left ideologue, with a close second the end of George W. Bush's Presidency.

I'd like to give a Hat-Tip to Tammy, who posted a really cool video that was made in response to Kutcher's effort. Check it out here. Tammy's find inspired me to go YouTubing (again, am I recreating the American derivative of the English language here?) and I came up with a couple of cool ones I though you might enjoy on a Saturday afternoon / evening.

As inspiring as anything is that these clips are created by young people who have not been indoctrinated and obviously are the real hope for our future. Enjoy.

I pledge to help get Obama's butt kicked out of office in 2012. I further pledge to help get as many of his sheeple thrown out of congress in Nov. 2010 as I can.

The only pledge in my house is to an American flag ...and a furniture polish...I guess a third pledge to put my foot up a bunch of asshole actors list is hanging on the fridge now too.

I pledge to continue my efforts as a Mob of One. Would you expect any less from such an instigator as myself?

Thanks for the linky love.

I love that we're seeing a lot of the less-than-30-year-old crowd on the same page.

Enjoyed the post. It is good to see young people with a brain.

j summett - good pledge. I don't just draw the line at Obama and his "sheeple" in Congress, I believe it's anyone from either party not representing us properly.

Hey King - good to see you writing again! Last time I stopped by it looked like you had been taking a break.

A pledge to the flag, yes.. but never a pledge to serve a president. That is a position of a person who serves us, always.

And since I'll bet you drive a celeb once in a while and may get that chance - kick 'em for me too!!

Steve - indeed... but you are one amongst many with the same passions.

Instigate on, good man..

tammy - isn't linky love the best?!?

Glad to give it... your post was a good one and made me take a moment and look for more. That's never a bad thing :)

How about that Van Jones??

Hey TCL - agreed..

I look at the kids I know and some of them seem to be brainwashed. Others not so much. Adult influence is huge.. my ex-girlfriend's kids are influenced by their very liberal lesbian older sister and her New York City "wife", and it's a tough battle to keep them getting both sides of the debate without seeming "mean" to Obama.

But she fights the good fight politely, and teaches good values, and that's all you can do...

i pledge to try to help any of the brain dead i run across, such as those in the video, catch a clue.

j summ - you'd think with all the cash they have, the hollywierd types would be able to buy a clue?
