Kanye West - Profile Of A Racist

Taylor Swift, a 19 year-old country singer who has had crossover success with her 2008 release "Fearless" and her single "You Belong With Me" from that album, got a surprise when she accepted the award for Best Female Video at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards.

After Swift, looking shocked at the announcement of her winning, beat out Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce for the honor, she took the stage and began her acceptance speech for the award.

As Swift was thanking MTV, Kanye West ran up on stage, took her microphone, and proclaimed that "Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!"

Taylor Swift is White, Beyonce is Black.

Swift stood silently holding her trophy, cameras cut to Beyonce looking stunned in the crowd, and MTV then cut to break.

Reportedly, later the same evening when Beyonce won Video of the Year, she called Miss Swift out to the stage to give her interrupted speech instead.

Kanye West has a history of incidents that involve race.

In 2005, in the wake of the Hurricane Katrina disaster for which FEMA and President Bush took much criticism, Mr. West proclaimed that "George Bush doesn't care about black people." These comments were widely regarded by the liberal community as truth, regardless of the lack of preparedness and planning executed by then Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin.

After the storm and during the cleanup efforts, parking lots full of municipal and school buses were found. These vehicles were left standing, waiting for the impending storm but not used for emergency evacuation, even though local authorities had nearly one full week's notice from federal agencies (including FEMA and DHS) as well as the National Weather Service about the impending storm that ravaged the New Orleans area, eventually killing as many as 1800 people and leaving the city ravaged.

I was wondering if that scumbag assclown was going to crawl out from under his rock and ruin this event. Thanks for the heads-up, as I was watching something else and forgot to record the awards on my DVR (At 40 years of age, there ain't much reason for me to watch MTV any more...I remember when they had actual videos). I've been meaning to tear Kanye apart again for awhile, and you just gave me my next blogging subject!

If you wanna read my first bashing of him, have at it:

That was so disgusting and so disrespectful. Another example of who the racists really are. I'm glad Taylor's mom yelled at him backstage. I would've done the same thing. I hope his momma yelled at him too.

i feel like we are in a battle between good and evil.
a battle between right and wrong
and that we are in for the battle of our lives in defending the constitution and all that this country holds dear.

this incident along with Rivera below is just yet another example of calling the kettle black.
they are like the immature teenager accusing others of what they in fact are.

most conservative Americans and certainly those featured here and other sits like thins including mine
are so over the race thing- we've never had an issue with this crap- we look at a person and do not see color- we see person- a person that we either agree with or we don't. but obama, sotomyer, jackson, and many others including michelle O simply cannot see past the color of a persons skin and they make an instant judgment based on that and based on the huge chip on their shoulder.
many of the whites on this progressive train- especially those in the political world -jump on this "race" card train- hoping they have placed their bets right and that they will be driven to the upper chambers of the political elite. who knows, maybe with all the corruption going on behind the scene they've placed their bets well.?
the average joes , though is a different story- those men & women who go along with it, well, they are simply uninformed, naive or are full of other major problems and are desperately looking for a cure.....
in their case- no matter what, no matter how things turn out;
they've place bad bets, very bad bets.

Pedaling got it right.

Kanye West is clearly an ass who buys into all that racial bitterness (paging Rev Wright, we got another one for ya). What was to be gained by stepping on Taylor Swifts acceptance speech? If he disagreed why not wait until after the show and then bitch to the media.

I am glad to hear Beyonce showed class by giving Swift her air time (I am a huge Beyonce fan, guilty).

Steve - glad to bring you the news - I would have never known except I was checking out what the lefties were saying about the DC rally, and this story was on the front page.

I Could give a rat's behind about MTV. They lost me about 20 years ago when they went all reality all the time.

Tammy - you know more about it than I do - I just know this guy is a clown and deserves to be scorned into obscurity - and I mean that in the nicest way possible!

Dr. Dave - I couldn't have said it better.

Pedaling - well said. I think you've been in on the discussions I've had in which I've stated that today's leftists are like a bunch of petty teenagers having a click war.

And the race card is backfiring on them bit by bit. When we have ideas minds and good hearts, and are wishing the best for everyone, we prove ourselves to be what we say we are - one nation in which all people are truly offered equal opportunity, and it's all about determination and self discipline.

That's something the left can never take from us.

Vineyard - welcome... and agreed. Pedaling said it very well.

Clifton - great point. Miss Swift had nothing to do with the voting, and West's predetermined agenda, as well as the bottle in his hand, got the best of him.

And I agree - Beyonce is, by all appearances, a very classy lady - and a heck of a performer too. Kudos to her.
