Geraldo Rivera Punk'd by Ann Coulter

Last night on Fox News Channel, Geraldo Rivera joined the legions of liberals and Media Elitists who are attempting to frame Joe Wilson (R-SC) as a racist due to his exclamation of "You Lie!" in the House chambers as President Obama addressed a Joint Session of Congress last Wednesday.

In an ongoing and increasingly disgusting attempt to frame concerned Americans as "racists who can't believe or accept a non-white as the leader of the free world", many in the mainstream media as well as many prominent liberals have recently called tea party protesters "tea-baggers," alluding to a sexual concept as defined by urbandictionary.com. References to the Confederacy have become commonplace in liberal talking points, and the Department of Homeland Security has gone so far as to create a report in which it claimed that militia memberships were on an uptick, and furthered their own rhetoric by claiming that anyone who owned a firearm or attended church may be considered a racist and a threat to a safe society.

Meanwhile, London's Mail Online reported that "As many as one million people flooded into Washington for a massive rally organised by conservatives claiming that President Obama is driving America towards socialism."

There were no reports of violence or unruliness during Saturday's gathering.

Additionally, while it is not being widely reported, it is rumored that there were indeed people of multiple races and diverse backgrounds in attendance, and that a Black man traveled across the nation with a group called The Tea Party Express and sang a song known as "The American Tea Party Anthem"

Thank you for kind words, sir. And hip hip for converted libs! Way to be.

PS- I'm actually taking a swing at writing the BAT. There's no way BHO actually passed it - he must have cheated.

victoria - yes.. the conversion was a wonderful process, to be sure. I now enjoy going back into the realm of the leftists - HuffPo especially, and then occasionally providing insight through this space as to what the truth is from the real left.

Sick, rude, and downright scary sometimes.. makes me wonder how I could associate myself with them.

All that aside - thanks for the reply, but I do not know this "sir" you speak of.. lol..

I'm just a guy like you're just a girl, even though we're all so much more than "just" anything...

I think my husband has a secret crush on Ann. Loved her responses to Geraldo. I may have a secret crush too.

ann coulter is one tough, smart gal.
glad she's on our side.
the one thing i keep hearing is that the republican approval ratings are down- libs love to throw that one out there....yeah, that's exactlh what we are trying to say....it's not about the republicans or democrats- get the dead republicans out too----it's now about wrong and right and upholding the constitution...so right on- the republicans approval rating is down...that's right.
it's a weak argument.

rock on joe wilson!

Geraldo was a joke back when he was doing the 'seek and find' expeditions under the streets or over in Egypt... what a waste of a broadcast time and money!

I wonder how long Fox will put up with his bias?

Does anyone pay attention to Geraldo since the "chair"?

Thanks for posting this. You know what these elitist are doing to Joe Wilson? They are practicing Racial Profiling on him! White + Southern + opposition to black president = racist. Hypocrites the lot of them.

BTW, if you want to see more images of Black tea party protesters in DC swing over to Booker Rising.

Tammy - I have a crush on Ann Coulter, and I'll make no secret about it.

She slammed Geraldo, and deservedly so. He's played the race issue in different ways, but this one kind of surprised me.

So next time you talk to Ann, tell her dinner's on me :)

Pedaling - as far as I'm concerned the Republican "approval ratings" can be next to zero - I don't care.

I admit that most I would vote for align with the Republican party, but if I'm deciding and a Democrat has better core values - see ya, Republican choice.

Meadow - I will never forget his "Al Capone's vault" disaster.

However, we have to remember that he brings Fox "fair and balanced" - plus he's willing to do the live show on weekends almost no matter what, and they need that.

Vineyard - I had forgotten all about that!

I suppose some people pay attention to him. For me he's background noise most of the time, but his discussions with Ann Coulter and Kirsten Powers can be insightful.. and are definitely easy on the eyes (when they keep the camera off of him, that is).

Clifton - thanks for the heads-up about Booker Rising, I'll be sure to check it out.

And you're right - it's classic framing going on in this instance. Mary Katherine Ham called it tonight on O'Reilly in a discussion with Juan Williams - and said it exactly as you did.

Everything boils down to race with these guys. They are out of ammunition, so it's time to play the race card. It's wearing thinner and thinner every day and makes them sound desperate.

TCL - I was surprised to hear this from Geraldo. I know he's a lib, but sometimes he seems like a lib with some common sense. I guess he just bough the party line on this one..
