America's Holocaust?

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) said Tuesday that "If you get sick, America, the Republican health care plan is this: die quickly. That's right. The Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick."

His remarks weren't spontaneous: He reinforced the point with signs saying the same thing.

In an effort to apologize for this stroke of genius, Grayson Wednesday said "I would like to apologize,” he said. “I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven't voted sooner to end this holocaust in America."

His sarcasm, delivered on the House floor, drew a swift rebuke from the National Republican Congressional Committee, which hopes to see Grayson defeated in an Orlando-based swing district next year.

Grayson told reporters he’s not worried at all about a backlash from voters and instead thinks his chances for re-election have been boosted.

"It improves them," he said. "People like elected officials with guts who say what they mean."

Hey Soloman. Great Site. I added you to the list. :)

This is the Democrats just doing standard operating procedure, which is pre-accusing the opposition of doing exactly what they intend to do next.

They've been doing it so long, Like Cpl Klinger, I wonder if they even know they're doing it anymore. Some have to because it's an intentional strategy.

PS - I lived in the Phx area from 79 to 2000. Ended up in Cincinnati because of a job.
Can't wait to get back to the sun belt.
We sold our house in Tempe for 170k, 4 years later it's going for 365. My timing has always been great.

Sure miss the Mexican food. My favorite places were La Pinata, 19th ave and Osborn, SW corner -La Parilla Suiza, 35th ave and Bethany, and Los Dos on South South Central.
Enjoy.

M-Cat - really, you haven't heard?

Health insurance companies nationwide are gathering people and putting them on buses or trains, and moving them off to "camps."

The lucky ones are simply shot in the head immediately, once they arrive at their final destination. Their jewelry and gold fillings are removed and given to the CEO's of these companies, or offered as charitable donations to racist and hateful Republican candidates who wish to destroy the lives of little Sally Muckenfuch and the other po.

Others are forced to go through drug experimentation, left to go hungry and thirsty for days on end, and sometimes end up sleeping amongst dead family members, while the Richie rich dine on caviar and sip champagne.

Well, that's what the libs would have us believe, anyway...

Remarkable, isn't it?

Hey Kid -

I'm not sure what "list" you speak of, but if it has to do with the DHS and something about homegrown terrorism, I may already be on it.

Otherwise, I'm honored, unless of course it's the list for the DNC dunking booth, and I'm in the wet seat!

Seriously, though - I'm in the Deer Valley area, Central & Bell. We probably drove by each other as we moved - I came here from Ohio (Cleveland / Columbus) in early 2001.

You would not believe the changes in the last 8 years. I love the weather, but we're being overrun by California liberals who sold at the top of the market and got great deals here. Ugh.

Anyway - glad you came by, take care!

Pedaling - we can only hope the people of his district use some common sense.

Soloman, the list is the list of blogs I read almost daily.

And it's getting pretty full.

Well, the California migration had been going on a loooong time. Sell a shack in CA, buy a mansion in AZ.

Though probably more so now that the vampires out there hope to solve ALL their problems with tax increases.
Central and Bell is a nice area.
Again, enjoy.

CS - I read your post.. interesting information. I'm still trying to learn more about the early 20th century Progressive movement. I understand it through how it affects what happens in today's liberal mindset, but I have not yet learned all the players and their individual roles.

Kid - exactly, and now they want to raise our taxes and implement all of their liberal policies here. We're a red state turning purple quickly.

Great material for his opponent's TV commercials.

TCL - absolutely, and given his district (SW or Orlando) he may have just put himself out of work.

I know Orlando is pretty liberal, but there are plenty of older folks and Jews in Florida who won't stand for that BS.
