A Time For Choosing

Why can't we have more of this...

Instead of this?

In one sentence he tells 30K including those in this photo opportunity that they will be sent off to Afghanistan, and in the very next sentence he tells these very same brave people that they only have 18 months to get it right, because come Hell or High Water, they're coming home.

We have sold our souls to the Devil in a blue suit and a teleprompter.

The contrast is mind boggling, Sol. What a disgrace. Obummer should not even share the same page as Ronald Reagan. He desecrates the WH and the office Of President every single second. He is aiding the enemy by giving them our timetable. He's a treasonist traitor who should be hung!

the difference is striking.

one speaks with love for our country and it's people, along with a responsibility to freedom, beholding to nobody except for what is morally right and to truth. he speaks with knowledge, power and confidence.

the second begins with, I, me, mine, as commander and chief, i have, i see, me, i, me, i would, .....he speaks with a TONE of implying power and confidence, when all he truly has is an ego the size of Alaska. in the end, he is a perfect example of "serving two masters" - "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

yep, we sold our souls to the Devil.

And, Amen to Amusing Bunni.

Sol,

Saw your comment on Hack Wilson's blog, followed your name, and here I am.

Nice blog, by the way. I'm VERY glad to see you are a former liberal and not a current model. Otherwise I wouldn't be here writing.

Reagan is easily my fave President. Although I am a Conservative Independent with no political fealty to any party (yet), I know strength and purpose when I see it, and Mr. Reagan was the epitomy of strength and Conservatism.

I will be adding you to my blog list, because quite frankly, your voice matters.

Wow, that sure does highlight everything that is deeply, disturbingly WRONG with BO.

I love the Reagan Vid. I posted it at least once myself. It sums it ALL up.

You can easily see the emotional euphoria of approval of the audience.

But you got it Soloman. He tells the enemy that we're outta there July 2011. The taliban will now go and talk to all thelocas and ell them we'll be gone and they will still be there, and they might want to rethink helping us in the meantime.

The locals will, of course, do jack shit to help us. Our military will be random moving targets until we leave with no hope of accomplishing squat.

Man I hate that asshole and the rest of the communist dems

"...our surrender will be voluntary...we will have been weakened from within...spiritually, morally and economically..."

Scary, but sounds a little too familiar.

God Bless President Reagan.

Now there is a president to be proud of. We need someone like him again.

I liked this: "Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so."
