The Media and Today's Jobs Report

I present to you the front pages from six major news outlets in the following order: ABC, BBC, NBC, NPR, CBS, and finally Drudge Report. These screen prints were all taken before 8:30am Arizona time.

Each of the first five provide their own internal reporting and have their own editor. Drudge Report is an aggregate news site; they gather news and information from multiple sources and provide their visitors with a wide spectrum of information.

The ONLY one of these sites offering real statistics in the wake of today's job numbers release appears to be Drudge Report. All the others appear to be leading with subdued headlines.

This nation is in dire straits, and nobody is telling us the truth. Well, not nobody... but those in whom we might have put our trust in the past for honest information no longer can be trusted.

The slobbering love affair with Barack Obama is strong in the media, regardless of the suffering of Americans. This love affair is so strong, in fact, that Drudge Report links to a story describing how reporters last night were using fake names so they could buy Obama gear, which means they were putting forward a campaign contribution. That is a practice that is supposed to be non-existent in the media.

I'm so tired of the love affair. It makes me want to vomit.
