More liberal lies...

The headline on the Huffington Post read:
VIOLENCE BREAKS OUT AT TAMPA TOWN HALL ON HEALTH CARE
Protesters Say They Had Been Spurred On By Conservative Activist Group, Fox News Host

However, if one actually paid attention, they'd learn this headline is totally misleading and a complete distortion of the facts. If one were to watch the video provided in the story, they'd see the violence was not started by "protesters" but rather by "security" which, as described on the Tampa 9/12 Meetup site, was clearly ACORN or SEIU. Also, on Tampa Bay Online, commenters who attended the event said that there were people wearing Obama shirts and "Organize for America" shirts who were moved past the line and allowed in, as the rest of the crowd was told the room had reached capacity.

Here's the video Huffington Post offered, which clearly was not watched by commenters on that website, as all they could do was babble on and on about how Glenn Beck "needs to be in an institution," "right-wingers all hate America," and the way to have a peaceful Town Hall meeting would be "to have a Tapioca Pudding stand across the street" (I guess that's funny?).

I'm as respectful of the next person when it comes to the matter of having an opinion, but these Huffington Post regulars are downright rude. Frankly, it scares the bejeezus out of me that there are that many people who think like these people do, but as I say that I still thank God we live in a land that allows them to have their freedom to have their say. Having said that, though - this is the same group as the "The Debate is Over" global warming believers, and they're unbelievably spoon-fed full of talking points, and they really seem to believe those talking points.

We're in for a long haul, we must be strong. America, we will protect you. We will not fail.

Tonight I am posting a copy of a letter written to former Congressman and now radio talk show host J. D. Heyworth of Arizona, by a woman named Deborah. Heyworth has a show on KFYI from 4pm - 7pm Monday thru Friday.

Without further adieu:

"Dear President Obama, et. al. ~

In order to save some time and effort on the part of the minions that you have encouraged to spy on me, I am writing to turn myself in regarding your official White House request for people to contact you and let you know if they have heard any rumors and 'casual conversations,' or seen any e-mails surfacing against your so-called 'health insurance reform' bill. http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/

Not only have I seen these things, but I have also forwarded them to everyone in my address book, posted about them on blogs, message boards and Face Book ad nauseam and I have discussed them (out loud!) in public restaurants during dinner parties with my friends and family members. I have exposed the absurdity of your scheme to destroy America over the phone, internet and fax when I corresponded with my duly elected representatives in an effort to let them know my views against this horrific bill so that they can actually REPRESENT me in voting against it. I've signed several internet petitions and joined online groups opposing this travesty!

I have actually dared to exercise my FREEDOM of SPEECH, (as guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States the last time I looked), in my frequent writings against this bill to deconstruct my way of life.

I listen to talk radio. Worse yet, I listen to CONSERVATIVE talk radio with the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Congressman J.D. Hayworth. And to top that off, I actually LAUGHED at several jokes that may not have been as politically correct on this issue as you demand, but at least they weren't directed at innocent Special Olympic kids.

Oh yeah... Barbara Boxer will be smug to hear from you that she was right about us manufactured mob 'types'... I dress nicely for a member of a mob ~ oh, not as lavishly as Michelle Obama with her $500 tennis shoes that she wears to garden in, but I'm probably a little more presentable than most of the "entitled" thugs in your frenzied mob ~ you know, the poor, disadvantaged and uneducated lazy bums you have inspired to join ACORN to train to be 'professional' agitators.

OK ~ I'm guilty as charged! I'm a conservative, pro-life, Jesus loving Christian, blue-eyed, blonde, white woman who owns a gun, belongs to the NRA and is old enough for AARP. English is my only language. I am a patriotic, proven LEGALLY born, tax-paying, hard working used-to-be-before-you-were-elected-and-crashed-the-market 'rich' labeled American small business owner who loves my country with no apologies and I don't bow down to anyone, let alone terrorist dictators. I support the troops, respect my elders (even those over 64), and eat too much apple pie, so there's plenty of me for the health Czar to shun in public. People know who I am. None of my records are sealed. I'm not afraid and don't hide my true self behind LIES or a platoon of highly paid attorneys like you do.

I don't appreciate you screwing over America and I'm going to continue to express my TRANSPARENT opinion against your pompous, radical actions in every which way but loose.

What the HELL are YOU going to do about it?

Sincerely,

Deborah

P. S. to my friends... please feel free to forward my message to flag@whitehouse.gov. as many times as you can. Perhaps this administration will get the message that there are Americans left out here who are willing to stand up and even fight for our country against all tyranny, foreign or DOMESTIC. While you are at it, maybe you can add a few thoughts of your own."

Soloman's final thoughts... flag@whitehouse.gov is, in my opinion, the biggest mistake President Obama and his administration will ever make.

We must make this the undoing of this President. He has now proven himself to be at a complete disconnect with the American people, and we must be sure that everyone knows that his agenda is completely against the grain of anything ever intended by our founders.

Goodbye, socialism, you just lost.

Paula Pounds the Pavement

It's a sad time to be an American...

No, it's not the fact that The Tribe traded the reigning CY Young winner, Cliff Lee, in an apparent attempt to reclaim their staus as the joke of Major League Baseball.

And no, it's not the trading of Jay Cutler from my Broncos, although I must admit I am a bit nervous about the upcoming season. Of course, there's my now-hometeam Arizona Cardinals, although rookie Beanie Wells' foot injury is not a good indicator.

And no... it's not the rumored "cease-fire" between Fox News Channel and MSNBC, which truly would be sad because there's so much truth to be learned about General Electric / MSNBC and how they are puppets for the Obama administration. Plus, as long as they continue bickering, we get to watch BathtubBoy get a little closer to the edge of insanity as he continues to make up crazier lies in an effort to discredit those from whom he yearns to gain admiration and acceptance.

No, America... today is a sad day because after much speculation, and I'm sure quite a few drinks and perhaps some prescription pills, Paula Abdul has announced she will not return for a 9th season of American Idol.

As reported by E! News at 9:05 EDT on August 4, 2009, a day that will live in infamy (like Pearl Harbor?), and less than one week after E! News confirmed that Kara DioGuardi (who?) will be returning to the judges' table, Abdul wrote on Twitter (oh, those kids and their tweets) Tuesday that she will not be back for the show's ninth season.

"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to #IDOL. I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all...being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon," read two tweets posted shortly after 7:30 p.m.

"What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me," Abdul continued. "It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month.

"I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all."

As Goes California...

As reported by Reuters today, SEIU - California's largest State employees union (and friend of ACORN) voted on Saturday to approve a strike authorization measure to protest furloughs of state workers and pressure state officials to ratify its labor contract. It seems that the union is not happy that California is trying to balance its budget, and in attempting to balance said budget has required employees to take furloughs of three days per month, costing each state employee under such furlough 15% of their salary.

Meanwhile, as reported by The San Fransisco Chronicle's website SFGate on May 25, 2008, Since Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger took office in 2003, just eight state employees earned more than $200,000 a year working in the core state government, which excludes universities and the Legislature (the real money-makers). In April of this year, there were nearly a thousand earning more than $200,000 a year, according to records. Additionally, the number of state employees making six-figure salaries has more than doubled since 2003, to nearly 15,000. Meanwhile, the number of state workers has grown by 26,000 under Schwarzenegger after being cut by Davis, who was recalled from office in the midst of a severe budget crisis.

In other words, The Governator is simply asking the employees of the state of California to give back to the people everything he has given them thus far, and their thugs at SEIU aren't too happy about it. This is all incredibly ridiculous, and the employees and SEIU should be embarrassed by their own behavior and greed. After all, many of us who do not work for government and do not have union representation are being asked to have our hours cut by our employers. The majority of us accept this as part of the deal, so to speak.

As an example, in February my coworkers and I personally accepted a 20% "furlough" in the form of a four day work week in order to help keep the doors of our company open. We are intelligent enough to be grateful we have an employer who wished to keep us employed. His other option was to continue to reduce staff which would leave some of us fully unemployed (he had laid off four employees before the furlough). Additionally, just as would be the case for the state workers, we continue to receive our health insurance benefits, our vacation time, and our sick pay.

California State employees would be well served to remember that as employees of private companies (such as mine) continue to work less hours and / or be laid off, there will be less tax revenues. As tax revenues fall, more cuts will need to be made by the state, since unlike private companies, the government does not actually provide a product that can be sold in order to create an income.

So in closing, I'd like to remind California state employees and the SEIU of an old saying - "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Choose wisely, California. You're either going to give a little now, or you're really going to pay for it later.

Are Rats blue over Obama's Health Care Plan?

This little guy is blue, because if President Obama gets his "health care plan" passed, doctors may no longer receive proper funding to do research on his spinal injury.

It seems that researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York have discovered that when they injected the compound Brilliant Blue G (BBG) into rats suffering spinal cord injuries, the rodents were able to walk again, albeit with a limp.

The only side effect was that the treated mice temporarily turned blue.

However, as we all know, the Obama plan for "health care reform" is likely to implement massive taxes on the rich. This will likely cause a reduction in donations to medical research centers such as the aforementioned, as those who donate to universities are usually... yes, you guessed it -- the rich!

Additionally, it will probably be deemed more fiscally responsible to put people in wheelchairs and give them pain pills than to spend money on such "extreme" treatments as the injection of a blue dye that may help those with spinal injuries.

On the upside... there will be plenty of blue dye for my favorite candy!!

An open letter to Glenn Beck

Today I am posting copy of a letter I wrote to Glenn Beck, regarding the recent controversy over the statement he made on "Fox and Friends" about President Obama.

On a side note, this situation has inspired me to once again begin posting thoughts to this blog. I had become discouraged because I felt nobody was listening, but I've decided it's not so important that people listen, what's most important is that I speak my mind and tell the truth based on the facts with which I am presented.

In the meantime, if you are reading and have a comment on what I have to say, please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email at wisdomofsoloman@gmail.com.

Glenn,

I am writing to let you know that I am in full support of your efforts to awaken the nation to what is happening to us, and I am absolutely shocked at the double standard you are being held to regarding your comments on "Fox and Friends." While it is not necessarily my place to stand up in your defense, and I know you have not asked this of me, I am proudly speaking out on your behalf in every way I know, because I feel that as the leftist blogs and "Mainstream Media" attack you for your opinion, they also attack me.

I have been a listener for over three years now, and have watched your show since your CNN days.. maybe late 2007 or so. I have identified with you in your views more often than not. I too found sudden interest in certain social and political arenas because of the events of September 11, 2001. I, as I sense you are, was shocked and horrified that day, even from my distant home nearly 2500 miles away in Phoenix, AZ. I was also incredibly inspired by the way we came together as a nation, that feeling I believe you brought back for many of us with your creation of the 9-12 project.

I identify with some aspects of your personal life as well, as I too am recovered from addiction. I believe that your insight and desire for the truth is because of exactly where you have been in life, knowing that every day you have is a gift and you must use that gift to make the world a better place. I respect you for your quest for the truth, and your love for America and all she stands for. I believe you truly are the person we hear on the radio, as opposed to a "ratings hound" as some would like to characterize you.

Glenn, I spend a lot of time corresponding with people on "the left," specifically on The Huffington Post. I choose that website as an outlet for a few reasons. First, I enjoy intelligent discourse, which I am actually able to find there upon occasion. Not everyone who "chats" on that site is all bad, and I am proud of the fact that once I break people of the "right/left" partisanship I am actually able to win some hearts and minds with reason and fact. Second, I believe it is productive to "know the enemy," and while I have found some good people, I also sincerely believe there are some "regulars" on that site that truly are the enemy within our borders. There are some absolutely amazing anti-American statements made by people who claim they love our country. I simply don't understand how they can claim to love a nation like America when they have absolutely no respect for our history or heritage, and wish to see our nation fundamentally changed. Third, I enjoy watching them as they so obviously hold people like you and me to a double standard.

I have to tell you, I am absolutely amazed at the amount of hatred you have been able to generate within that group over the time you have been with FNC. I've been specifically watching the articles about the initial statement, and now the article that discusses Joe Scarborough's "twitter" about you.

The lesser comments make comparisons to The Dixie Chicks, talking about how "The right was all up in arms, yet they're so quick to defend this guy." Umm... different situation completely - those girls were overseas talking down America (hey, there's a theme there... ).

There are the Imus comparisons, which is not even close to acccurate, and truth is while Imus made a comment some percieved as crude, he never should have been fired. Imus' comment was about a group of young women who were not in the public eye in the way that President Obama is, and Imus' comment was off the cuff, whereas yours is well researched and you are able to back your statement of opinion with facts. Of course, they only understand that it's okay to have an opinion when it's them having one, or when yours matches theirs, perhaps.

They're making boycott lists of your sponsors. More power to them, and I'm sure you'd agree that that is absolutely their right if they do not like what you say and wish to affect you in some way. It's hilarious, though, when they post things like "I tried to watch and make a list of his advertisers, but I just couldn't stand to watch any more of him!" Some dedication to the cause... can't sit through a one hour television show?

They're saying, of course, "Takes one to know one" which is hilarious, because they don't understand in saying that they acknowledge Obama's racism!!

And my favorite, of course, is the fact that I am able to post a comment that goes like this:

"Political correctness is a sickness, and America has it. I'd say that Beck is simply calling a spade a spade, but then I'd be called a racist too. There are many, many indicators in President Obama's life that prove Beck to be correct, but it is not politically correct to address these possibilities. Honesty is no longer a part of the discussion in America."

The only reply, ten hours later? Someone who said "Amen."

God Bless you and your staff, Glenn. Keep up the good work. Please, do not give up, and do not let them silence you. You truly are inspiring many of us who need a voice, and on behalf of all those I know who appreciate what you do - Thank you very much.

Best "Left" Alone...

Regarding the recent scuffle between David Letterman and The Palin Family, I have just one simple thought, which I think should settle the entire debate rather swiftly.

If you want to make a joke, but it's a joke that you would not make about your mom, your sister, or your wife - the joke is disrespectful and not funny. David Letterman, a once funny but now bitter and mean old man, was out of line. He was rude, has shown no class throughout the entirety of this "debate," and he never truly apologized. Although I have not watched his show in a long time, I will now avoid watching his show permanently, even if one of his guests is someone I am interested in. I'll take my chances on someone posting those interviews on YouTube.

Having said that - please, Mrs. Palin, let it rest. You are about to lose any political capital you might have gained through the past week. Leave well enough alone, as they say. You've made your point loudly and clearly, and now it's time for you to let Mr. Letterman continue to step in it. Leave it to him, because as things stand right now he will not be able to say or do anything on his own to improve his appearance in this debate. However, he certainly can make himself look worse if he's not careful, which will in turn make you look better.

I don't know if Sarah Palin is the person I want to see running against President Obama in 2012, but at the moment she certainly is one of the most visible and notable representatives of the "Loyal Opposition." I believe it is in the interest of all things opposed to Obama that she (as well as any other potential candidates) maintain as much dignity as possible in this and any other situation.

There is a very incorrect dialogue on the left, one which is being perpetuated by the mainstream media. This dialogue has created a perception that anyone not in lock-step with all things Obama must be a racist and a bigot, and therefore should be feared like Hitler.

In my opinion, the best way to change this misconception is to allow the left to show themselves for what they really are, since they are truly the party that classifies everyone by race and gender, age and education, and it is the political left who truly lack respect and dignity. This can be seen by watching any episode of Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, during which Olbermann - to this day - continues to perpetuate the myth that waterboarding is torture and that George W. Bush is a criminal. Or perhaps the left is best exposed when reading a review of Glenn Beck's Comedy Tour in Vanity Fair or the New York Times, or reading the recent Paul Krugman article titled "The Big Hate", in which the newest rising star on The Fox News Channel - Glenn Beck - is essentially shredded with ad hominem attacks and Krugman's straw-man arguments.

Or maybe the best way to let Americans know what the leftist agenda is really all about is to ask some folks who just wanted to help people, and joined an organization called ACORN. Yet today they find themselves caught up in litigation, as they learned in time that the organization they had joined turned out to be a system built and maintained for the purpose of laundering money that has been essentially scammed from Congress.

One way or another, given enough time, the left will show itself to be the entity that it truly is - the entity that wishes to destroy the greatest political and social experiment since the beginning of mankind, and the greatest nation on God's Earth.
